Mr. Joseph Collins

Mr. Joseph Collins

Joseph Collins previously served as assistant principal at Boyd and Sykes Elementary before returning to Boyd Elementary to serve as Principal. Prior to joining the JPS Team, he taught science, coached track and basketball in Clinton Public School District. His career began in Jefferson County Public District in Louisville, Kentucky, where he taught biology, engineering, and coached track.

Mr. Collins holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Education from Alcorn State University. He also holds a Master of Educational Leadership degree from Mississippi College. Mr. Collins intends to continue his education in a curriculum and instruction doctoral program.

Mr. Collins believes that every child can succeed, and is dedicated to ensuring that Boyd's Bobcats receive a world-class learning experience!
